You ever get so caught up in worrying about ‘all the things’ that you lose site of what actually matters? To me my most important thing is family — and that’s what this time of year especially is about, right. You can’t pick em, and sometimes they drive us crazy and make us wanna throw things, but where would we be without them? Heck, my family is as close as it gets to the Griswolds and I still love them all (even you Eric). I feel like I can barely keep track of myself sometimes, I really don’t know how my mom and dad handled 3 of us savages. I know I can call my dad anytime of day and he’d answer and he’s always open to even my weirdest of new ideas / innovations / etc… Then there’s Mom who is endlessly patient and probably gets the worst of us a lot and she still goes out of her way to make us feel like a million bucks. I’m saying this to myself more than anyone else, but the next time the mind turmoil ensues, remember why you are even here, and what is going...
